“Mobile World Congress remains the most important global meeting point for the connectivity ecosystem. Our continued participation reflects Cloud Signals’ commitment to building international partnerships and contributing to the next generation of hybrid terrestrial and satellite communication infrastructures,” said Dr. Christos Papachristos, CEO of Cloud Signals. “Events like MWC provide a unique platform to engage with industry leaders, explore new collaborations, and position innovative European technologies in the global market.”
Barcelona, March 2026 — Cloud Signals participated once again in Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2026, the world’s leading event for the telecommunications and digital technology industry, held from 2–5 March 2026 at the Fira Gran Via exhibition centre in Barcelona.
The company joined the Greek national delegation, which was organised by the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise Greece, and SEKEE (Hellenic Association of Innovative Applications Companies). The Greek pavilion participated in the event under the central message “Innovative Minds: Global Impact.”
MWC Barcelona is widely recognised as the largest and most influential global gathering of the connectivity industry, bringing together mobile operators, technology vendors, research institutions, investors, and startups from around the world to discuss the future of telecommunications, digital infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
This year’s Greek delegation marked a record participation with 48 companies and organisations, highlighting the growing dynamism of the Greek digital and technology ecosystem. According to the official statistics of the mission, participants conducted more than 635 business meetings with international companies and organisations, many of which opened the door for new partnerships and commercial opportunities.
As part of the event, the Cloud Signals team held a series of meetings with international technology companies, research organisations, and institutional stakeholders, exploring potential collaborations in areas including:
Satellite communications and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN)
5G and emerging 6G connectivity solutions
Hybrid terrestrial–satellite network architectures
Space-enabled digital services and telecommunications infrastructure
Participation in European research and innovation programmes
Participation in MWC Barcelona is part of Cloud Signals’ broader strategy to actively engage with the global telecommunications and space technology ecosystem, strengthening international partnerships and contributing to the development of next-generation connectivity solutions.
Events such as MWC play a critical role in enabling cross-industry collaboration and accelerating the evolution of digital and communications infrastructures, particularly in areas where terrestrial networks increasingly integrate with space-based systems.
Through its continued presence at the event, Cloud Signals reaffirms its commitment to innovation in satellite communications, advanced telecommunications networks, and space-enabled services, supporting the development of resilient and future-ready connectivity infrastructures.
